"Die Empty," I heard Dudley Hall say. Dudley went on to talk about our selfish society, and how it's always about us and not others. I've been chewing on that word since Thursday. What good would it do any of us to die with a bunch of knowledge, wisdom, love, etc. left over? The principle is so clear, if we give it away He will fill us again. "Freely you have received, now freely give." The challenge for all of us is not to acquire more stuff, more toys, more things; but to give of ourselves, freely to the kingdom of God.
At the end of the day are we empty or still full? Have we given a half away, quarter, fourth or are we on empty?
We die daily to ourselves so that we can be led by the Lord and give to any need that arises, and as we give He replenishes, always. Let's empty ourselves today!

die empty makes sense,,,,
perhaps that was what Jesus was saying when He told us to "do this in rememberence of me". Maybe He wasn't talking about a ritual, maybe He wants us to be broken and poured out in remembrence of Him
